• B1 fire resistance certificate in accordance with DIN 4102

Installation instructions:

1. Measure the depth and width of the step
2. Order the correct size and quantity of GLASS™ covers
3. Dispose of the entire packaging in the paper recycling bin
4. Clean the surface to which the GLASS™ is to be applied using a dry cloth, then degrease it using a cotton cloth soaked in extraction petrol or isopropanol
5. Remove the protective border. Apply GLASS™ to the surface to be protected as shown in the photo, from left to right (or vice versa); finally, fold the tab over the riser (downwards) - if required. Smooth it out by hand, with a soft cloth or a rubber squeegee
6. Enjoy the benefits of the GLASS™ film

The protective film can be applied no earlier than 5 weeks after the surface has been varnished.

The packaging for GLASS™ lids is always made from 100% cardboard and paper. These materials are all recyclable together. Buyers do not need to worry about separating plastic film, stretch film or plastic tape from the packaging, as all components of our packaging can be disposed of together in the blue paper recycling bin! The packing tape is also made from paper and is FSC-certified, which demonstrates the conscious and responsible use of resources. We hold the Der Grüne Punkt certification.

For us, the environment is more important than the price of the packaging. Our product is made from just one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the lowest CO₂ carbon footprint - unlike carpet tiles (which consist of many different materials combined together!) etc.

We dispatch GLASS pads in a special heavyweight cardboard box or a paper tube with thick walls (approx. 4 mm); all packaging is new and does not come from recycled materials previously used for chemicals, etc.

If you choose our courier, Mathey System will also cover the cost of carbon neutrality!
